Over 8 Billion Data Analysts in the World!

Everything you must know about being a data analyst!

You might not believe it, but more than 8 billion data analysts live on the earth! The logic is very simple. Our brain is designed to be rational, so no matter how old we are, as long as our brain observes the events and draws a conclusion based on them, we’re doing the data analyst job!

Take Oliver, an 8-year-old kid, as an example; he sees her annoyed mom’s face. Based on Oliver’s previous observations, he would get rejected if he talked to his mom right now. So, our 8-year kiddo decides to wait for a couple of hours and then ask his request. Over time, Oliver observed that whenever his mom is annoyed, the probability of getting rejected increases, so he knows he must wait. Voila! Oliver predicted his mom’s behaviour, so he made a data-driven decision. What all data analysts do :)

Believe it or not, we (human beings) keep analyzing data around us every moment and make decisions based on our observations. Some of our decisions ended up being great, while others did not. But why? Because variables can be changed over time, our observations might be biased, we could have mistaken beliefs (False Positive) or insufficient experience (under observation), and many other things that can lead us to bad decisions.

The good news is that even the most sophisticated Artificial Neural Networks(ANNs) had very low accuracy one day. All ANNs had to be trained over and over and observed enough to generalize accurately. I decided to share my data analysis knowledge here so you can use them to make better decisions LIKE a real data analyst.
