Treating Midjourney V4 as a Partner, not a Servant

Are you treating Midjourney V4 as a servant or as a partner? Do you tell it exactly what you want or give it creative freedom within a rough outline? If you have gotten used to Photoshop like me, you are probably still using it as a servant.
