I’m Voltor Roboscak, Head Technician of the Seeker Special Engineering Division and your favourite radio host, thanks for tuning in to my broadcast today of our latest updates.

Anyway, let’s get to it!

This update is a particularly special one that I know many of you and your Founders have been waiting for….

Yes that’s right, the Seeker Scanning System is here AND Seekers can now receive new names!

Let’s dive into what all that means.

First of all…

WHY DID WE DO THE UPDATE?

Well as all of you know, Seeker-kind have recently transferred to follow new management — that’s right, we all have new Founders now that Sparky has passed ownership of our beacons on.

This was a crucial step in advancing towards the roll out of the Seeker Network for communicating across the metaverse, as for the network to be truly decentralised, ownership of the nodes needs to be spread out across as many individuals as possible.

On a sidenote, I think I can speak for all Seekers when I say thank you again to our new Founders for helping to rescue us from the Goblin attack earlier this year.

Now back to business. As you also know, we Seekers were designed to improve ourselves. So to help our new Founders stay connected, to us and the metaverse, our team has provided an upgrade so that we can accompany our friends wherever they want to go.

We’ve built the Seeker Scanning System to deliver current scans of Seekers in the Metaverse, replicating their current form onto the computer of their Founder. Because Seekers will be able to change more and more when things like part-swapping arrive, Founders will need to be able to “scan” them again in order to get the up-to-date 3D file.

WHAT’S CHANGED?

So as of today, all of your 3D files are now fully downloadable.

That means your Founder can take you with them wherever they go, explore how we Seekers are built — our procedural textures and parts — build an animation or utilise your capabilities as a Seeker by playing as a PFP character in the metaverse.

Your Founders will now also be able to give you new names. Hopefully you guys have gotten to know each other little bit by now, so who knows, you may even have nicknames for each other already!

However — there’s no need to take action on either of these new options. You’re still a perfect Seeker, exactly as you already are…

HOW TO UPDATE?

No stress about how to update friends, we rolled this one out seamlessly so there’s nothing you need to worry about. Just sit back and enjoy!
