This is one of the biggest shocks in World Cup history, with Argentina being one of the favorites in the tournament and Saudi Arabia being one of the lowest-ranked teams. The game began with a goal from Messi when he scored a penalty. In the beginning of the second half, Saudi player Sally A-Shari scored within 3 minutes of the second half, making it 1–1. 5 minutes later, midfielder Salam Al Dosari scored their second goal.
